The master of public health (MPH) is a globally focused program that equips students to address health challenges through applied research, policy and community-based practice.

The MPH is a 42-credit hour, two-year program that includes a global health concentration.

Master of Public Health/Master of Business Administration


Earn both a master of public health from the Maxwell School and a master of business administration from the Whitman School to prepare for cross-sector leadership.

The MPH/MBA dual degree program is an 81-credit hour, three-year program that prepares students for careers that require an understanding of both business and public health.

Addiction Studies Certificate of Advanced Study

The certificate of advanced study (CAS) in addiction studies is a 12-credit online program offering specialized training in substance use prevention, policy and recovery.

This certificate can be earned alongside a graduate degree or on its own, following completion of an undergraduate degree, and may be completed either full time or part time.
