Maxwell Student Jorge Morales ’26 Named a 2025 Beinecke Scholar

Morales, a double major in history and anthropology, is one of only 20 students nationwide to receive this prestigious award, which supports exceptional undergraduates in their pursuit of graduate studies in the arts, humanities and social sciences.

Maxwell Political Science Student Receives Prestigious Udall Scholarship

Katsitsatekanoniahkwa Destiny Lazore is one of 55 students nationwide selected this year. The Udall Foundation awards scholarships to college sophomores and juniors for leadership, public service and commitment to issues related to Native American nations or to the environment.

Maxwell Alumna Dara Drake Named the University’s First Knight-Hennessy Scholar

Knight-Hennessy Scholars is a multidisciplinary, multicultural graduate scholarship program at Stanford University. Each Knight-Hennessy scholar receives up to three years of financial support to pursue graduate studies at Stanford while engaging in experiences that prepare them to be visionary, courageous and collaborative leaders who address complex challenges facing the world.

History Student Abigail Fitzpatrick Receives Wortman Scholarship for Archival Work in Los Angeles

Maxwell student Abigail Fitzpatrick, received the Wortman Scholarship from the History Department. Funding for the scholarship has been generously provided by Marlene Stein Wortman ’58 B.A. (Hist). Fitzpatrick will use the funding to conduct archival research in Los Angeles for her distinction thesis.

Maxwell Student Among Those Selected as 2024 Rostker Dissertation Fund Fellows

Managed by the D’Aniello Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF), the Bernard D. and Louise C. Rostker IVMF Dissertation Research Fund recently provided more than $40,000 to four students who are at varying stages of their dissertation pursuits. Ph.D. candidate Mariah Brennan was one of the recipients.
