The institute will examine the complex social, ethical and legal questions that demand interdisciplinary, multi-faceted research to find answers to questions posed by the increasing reliance on autonomous systems.

“What is clear from conversation with our alumni and fellow scholars is that public administration—as a field of practice and academic study—in nations around the world is in a time of revolutions, and that it is going to take a cadre of well-trained, committed people to help us deal with the challenges of the 21st century,” said Tina Nabatchi, Joseph A. Philip Racicot ’15 B.A. (PSc) joins Keene State Athletics with more than 20 years of experience in athletics.

The scholarships were founded as a tribute to—and means of remembering—the 35 students who were killed in the Dec. 21, 1988, bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland, and are funded through an endowment supported by gifts from alumni, friends, parents and corporations. 

Syracuse University held the third annual One University Awards Ceremony on Friday, April 12, 2019, in Hendricks Chapel, honoring dozens of members of the University community for their scholarship, teaching, academic achievement, leadership and service.

The team earned the accolade for its portrayal of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the National Model United Nations conference held April 13-19. Eighteen students majoring in international relations participated as delegates in this academic conference.

Hans Buechler, professor of anthropology was honored at the One University Awards ceremony, held on April 12.

Roberts is a Ph.D. candidate in political science who focuses on comparative politics and international relations. The Foundation is supporting her dissertation research, which examines the effect of foreign aid in post-conflict states and the processes of conflict relapse, as part of their mission to support scholars and organizations that promote international security and domestic public policy.
