Maxwell Student Named 2025 MLK Unsung Hero
Andrea-Rose Oates, a policy studies major, was selected as one of the award winners. The Unsung Hero Award is given to community members, students, faculty and staff who have made a positive impact on the lives of others but are not widely recognized for their contributions.

The publication called the book by Maxwell School Professor Emeritus Dennis Romano a “sparkling account of Venice’s past and future.”

Public health majors Alyssa Sutherland and Tabitha Hulme were chosen as 2024-25 Remembrance Scholars who honor the Syracuse University students who died in the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 in 1988.
